now google is adding two new features. a browseable home for google images will show a dynamic gallery of web images updated in real time and tailored to your interests. saved collections appear as tabs for easy access. this rolls out on desktop in the u.s. in english over the coming weeks. also, image generation comes to ai overviews in search using the nano banana model. you can type a prompt to create a custom image from scratch, bridging imagination and reality. it launches in english where image creation in ai mode is already supported.
other recent updates include circle to search multi-object recognition, which lets you explore multiple items in one image at once, and an intelligent search box that accepts multiple image uploads for detailed ai mode answers. these tools build on a history of making visual information instantly accessible, from simple image search to live video conversations with search live.
