early data from 1.2 million anonymized cowork sessions across over 600,000 organizations shows the largest use case is business process operating at 33.4%, including pulling updates into reports and reconciling spreadsheets. content creation and copywriting followed at 16.4%, while software development accounted for only 8.7%. anthropic says the tool is most helpful for tasks that are part of many jobs but rarely a person's core responsibility, and the company aims to show where value is concentrated as ai integrates into daily work.
